Minimized Risk

Customer data is stored locally, reducing company liability.

The @protocol guarantees that each person’s data is securely stored on their own device. Since people have true ownership of their data, your company doesn’t have to create and protect massive user databases filled with personal customer info. As the Internet’s long history of data breaches suggests, these enormous treasure troves of data are attractive targets for nefarious hackers.

Put simply, if you don’t have to maintain large user databases, the risk of incoming cyberattacks decreases. You’ll still need to protect your company server, which has specialized access to customer data through the @protocol. But you can focus your security efforts on a singular server to ward off attacks.
